What can I expect at my first appointment?
Your first appointment will last either 45 or 75 Minutes depending on which option you choose during the booking process. The first 15 minutes as a new customer will include an initial consultation where information is gathered using a direct set of questions. The outcome of this will form the basis of the assessment and possible diagnosis and treatment plan to follow. All aspects of the treatment plan will be discussed with clients at all stages.
What is an Initial Consultation?
All of our clients will require an initial consultation to formulate a treatment plan in consultation with your therapist. This is a fifteen minute appointment during which your personal history and requirements will be discussed and your treatment plan explained.
What Should I wear?
Please ensure that you wear loose comfortable clothing in order for our Therapists to accurately assess your movements. If you have a lower limb injury, it is recommended you bring some shorts to your appointment.
How many appointments will I need?
This is dependent on so many factors due to the nature of every individual customer having different symptoms and needs. This is why we offer an initial consultation for every new customer. Once you have been assessed our expert Therapists will recommend a bespoke treatment plan to suit your personal needs.
We price all of our treatments the same, Therefore whichever treatment our experts feel you require will be inclusive of the costs already incurred at the booking stage.
What will be included in my treatment plan?
Our treatment plans are unique to each client as we tailor our services to fully meet your personal requirements.
For clients with Sports Injuries the treatment plan will consist of:
- Initial Consultation
- Initial Assessment
- Return to Sports
Our team of fully Qualified Therapists will provide a personalised treatment plan for each client and guide you through your healing process providing you with support and advice every step of the way
What is an Initial Assessment?
Subsequent to the Initial Consultation each client will receive a bespoke treatment plan including where necessary the following assessments:
- Injury Assessment
- Mobility Assessment
- Postural Assessment
- Gait Analysis
These will be conducted during a 30 or 60 minute session at the commencement of a treatment plan to diagnose the specific requirements of each individual client in order to provide the best treatment or combination of treatments to facilitate healing and recovery.
NB: For Clients who are receiving regular Sports Massage the early identification and prevention of injury are continually assessed and reported to you, any additional assessment you require or request will be discussed with you during your treatments.
What treatments do you offer?
Treatment of clients will be personalised according to the clients individual physique and requirements and the nature of the condition or injuries. Our experienced Therapists are trained in providing a wide range of treatments and therapies to help you with pain relief and management without medication throughout your recovery. These Include:
- Sports Massage
- Deep Tissue Massage
- Ultrasound Therapy
- Kinesiology Taping
- Prescriptive Exercise
- Peripheral Mobilisations
- PNF Stretching
- Guided Rehabilitation
- Professional Advice
All Assessment and Treatment is provided inclusive in the session costs of £25.00 for 30 minutes or £40.00 for 60 minutes giving you the confidence that our professional therapists will provide you the treatment you need with no extra hidden costs
How much will it cost and do you take card payments?
You will receive an Initial Consultation of 15 minutes to assess your treatment requirements for £5.00.
You will then receive your first treatment session for 30 minutes at £25.00 / 60 minutes at £40.00. All initial assessments and treatment sessions will be with one of our Highly trained, Minimum Level 6, Degree Qualified Therapists.
At the conclusion of your first treatment session, your Therapist will arrange subsequent appointments for 30 or 60 minutes treatment sessions for you as required.
All payments can be taken via our secure website bookings and payment system which accepts all card types.
You will receive your receipt for payment with your appointment confirmation email.
In the event that you need to pay cash for your treatment please select the cash payment tick box on the bookings payment page ( please note this option is only available to our confirmed client list and is not available for first time users of our services )
Do you offer any discounts?
We also offer a discount for a block of 6 treatment sessions ( price page link ) or you can take advantage of our Monthly Conditioning packages

How do I Transfer My Existing Subscription to the New Sports Injury Specialists Ltd Membership?
We have prioritised our existing loyal subscribers and have provided a discount voucher for you to use to transfer our existing clients to our new system. This will enable you to become Members on our new website for the same monthly cost as your existing subscription. This is available to you in the Members Area by entering your email address into the relevant field.
Once you have set up your new membership we will receive notification to cancel your subscription on the old website. Thank you for your continued support, please check out the improvements in our Membership package here.
Do you provide treatments for children?
All children under the age of 16 who require treatment must be accompanied by an appropriate adult. All our Therapists have completed a DBS check.
Do you provide treatments for Health Plan Clients?
We provide receipts for the costs of your treatments which have the Qualifications and Professional Memberships of your Therapist enabling you to claim your costs back from your Health Plan provider.

I cannot attend my appointment, what should I do?
Please log-in to your account with us to reschedule your appointment, you will need to enter your email address.
Please note: Appointments can only be rescheduled before the Final Confirmation has been sent 24 hours in advance of the Appointment.
How do I raise a Complaint?
Please email us in the first instance and provide details of your complaint and your contact details. We will endeavour to answer your email and address your complaint as swiftly as possible and to keep you informed throughout the process.
